White Rose Libraries – branding and updates
Helena Mellows, January 2025
White Rose Libraries (WRL) welcomes 2025 with a new look and a revitalised online presence to help promote collaboration and innovation across the universities of Leeds, Sheffield, and York. Following a recent rebranding process, WRL is pleased to announce the relaunch of its website, alongside updates logos, and a new social media presence. WRL’s rebranding process has been conducted in tandem with White Rose University Consortium, who recently renewed their own website and branding. Visit the White Rose University Consortium website to find out more about their new vision and mission, focused on enabling individuals to thrive across the three universities.
WRL’s updated website provides an engaging and accessible space for WRL to share news and updates. It also offers an overview of our current activities, ongoing projects, and upcoming events. New and informative web pages provide detail on WRL’s main strands of activity: the open access White Rose University Press (WRUP), the jointly managed research and thesis repositories, and WRL’s work to facilitate innovation and collaboration across the university libraries of Leeds, Sheffield, and York. You can also find information on WRL’s strategy and governance, access the latest annual reports, and find ways to contact us. Be sure to check out the News page for the latest news and events from WRL and WRUP. The WRUP website will soon be undergoing its own renewal, so watch this space!
Alongside this, WRL also recently launched new social media platforms – follow us on Bluesky and X to keep up to date with all of our news. As we enter 2025, WRL’s revitalised brand and updated web presence will support continued collaboration and innovation around initiatives in open access, open research, and much more.
