White Rose Libraries (WRL) was established in 2004 and remains one of the UK’s most successful regional collaborations. Our partnership leverages the geographic proximity of our libraries, our similar strategic and operational focus as large research institutions, and the existing links between our staff and students through the White Rose University Consortium.
White Rose Libraries facilitates collaboration between our three institutions. As well as promoting innovation and collaboration, we manage a joint repositories service and White Rose University Press, our Open Access academic publisher.

Governance
White Rose Libraries Executive Board
The White Rose Libraries Executive Board is made up of the university library directors from each site alongside the WRL Executive Manager. The Executive Board have oversight of all WRL activities and each sponsor a specific strand of activity. The Board meet quarterly to discuss matters of strategy and governance.
